Avocado Banana Smoothie

Wow, is this yummy. Everyone loved it. I made this at the inspiration of my friend Alondra and based it off a recipe at allrecipes. I usually avoid avocado, but now I'm a convert. It's rich, no doubt about it. In fact, I make this recipe below and get 4-5 small servings out of it if there's other food at breakfast, too.

  • 1 ripe avocado, peeled and chunked up
  • 1 frozen banana, chunked up
  • 1 c. plain yogurt
  • 6 ice cubes
  • 3 T. sugar (a lot... I'll reduce this slowly)

Whirl all in blender or food processor until smooth. Enjoy! (This will turn brown after sitting for a bit, so serve right away.)
