CSA Week #24 (11/8/12)

Our last week! I asked Caleb what they would do with all their produce next week--it's still warm enough around here for things like greens to be growing like crazy. He said they'll be at the farmer's market; we just don't do shares anymore (our term has ended). So we'll see....

Great stuff this week!!

• 1 bunch white carrots--very cool looking; supposedly they taste just like regular
• 2 GIANT heads bok choy (1 was a freebie because some other share holders hadn't wanted it... they must be crazy)
• 3 kohlrabi bulbs with their greens (those funky light green things in the left of the picture with the leaf stalks coming out of them)
• 1 small head broccoli
• 1 bunch green onions
• 1 bunch collard greens

So, what's on our menu for these goodies?

• Stir-fry!
• Lo mein
• Collards (with the kohlrabi greens thrown in), pintos, cornbread
• Pork with Broccoli and Noodles
