Weekly Menu (2/7-2/13)

To work with this week: kale that needing using up, carrots that needed using up, a turkey that we finally thawed and were ready to cook, a huge thing of salad needing using up, miscellaneous fruit and other veggies, standard freezer supply of chicken/beef/pork/fish, some tofu, standard various lentils/legumes

Breakfasts:
Biscuits, cheese, bananas
Oatmeal with the usual toppings
Fried egg sandwiches
Yogurt/honey/bananas, biscuits
Oatmeal Muffins, grapefruit, scrambled eggs
Yogurt/honey/bananas, oatmeal muffins
Toast, eggs, grapefruit




Dinners: (incl. Sunday lunch)
White Bean and Kale Soup, salad
Pasta with Bell Peppers and Balsamic Vinegar, salad, pound cake with orange glaze (yum!)
Roast Turkey, mashed potatoes, carrots, salad
Turkey and Wild Rice Soup
Leftovers
Baked Lentils with Cheese, roasted sweet potatoes, steamed broccoli
Cheese and Chocolate Fondue with assorted dippers (yum!)
Leftovers all day Saturday--leftover bread toasted for breakfast, leftover sausages from fondue night for lunch, leftover lentils for dinner.... I like these kinds of days!
