CSA + Garden Haul Week 6 (6/28/12)

Things are heating up in my part of the country--we're expecting 100+ degrees in the next few days which is quite rare, especially in June. Thankfully, the humidity is fairly low for our part of the country (hovering in the 50% mark instead of the 99% mark ☺). But these hot, hot, hot temperatures are going to mean the end of things like arugula, chard, cabbage, and other cool season veggies that have been hanging on...

We still have a lot of produce leftovers (all still in great shape thanks to my fridgesmarts) from the previous weeks thanks to a week out of town. So we'll be eating veggie-heavy meals in the next few days!

  • small bag new potatoes (~1 pound)
  • large bunch green onions
