I still grin when I think of the stunt we pulled with some friends who were about to leave for the mission field. They swore they didn't like broccoli, but they devoured this slaw. Only when they were done did my mom reveal what the little green sticks were.... (Once dressed, this salad will keep better than a lettuce-based salad, but hold the noodles/almonds until ready to serve.)
1 pkg. broccoli slaw
1 pkg. "Pork" ramen noodles, noodles only (reserve seasoning mix)
4 green onions, sliced
1/3 c. slivered almonds
Crumble noodles and toast with almonds. Toss with dressing (see below).
