Easy, delicious, and so pretty. If only I'd had my camera with me! If you have a garden, this is practically free.

- 6 slicing tomatoes, mixed red and yellow if you can find them
- 1/2 c. or so olive oil
- balsamic vinegar
- 1/4 c. chopped/snipped basil (or parsley)
- salt and pepper to taste
Lay tomatoes on a chilled plate in a circle, alternating colors if you can. Drizzle olive oil on top. Drizzle balsamic vinegar over. Sprinkle basil on top. Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste. Serve immediately.

You know, I'd normally think that, too--but this was delicious by itself.
